About the DAS
The Decorative Arts Society is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1990 to encourage interest in, appreciation of and exchange of information about decorative arts. To pursue its purposes, the society sponsors meetings, programs, seminars and a newsletter, as well as an awards program to recognize scholarship in the field. Its supporters include museum professionals, academics, collectors, institutions, dealers and decorative arts enthusiasts.
The mission of the Decorative Arts Society is to build and support a community for the appreciation and study of decorative arts.
Contributions to the DAS are tax-deductible, subject to applicable limitations.
